SR60V Solvent Reclaim System

15 Gallon / 60 Liter Class I, Division I Solvent Recycler with Vacuum Assist

Industrial Solvent Recovery for Higher Throughput Applications

The SR60V Solvent Reclaim System is a 15-gallon (60-liter) batch-type solvent distillation unit engineered for safe, efficient on-site solvent recycling in industrial environments. Designed for facilities with moderate to high solvent usage, the SR60V combines a robust thermal-oil heated distillation vessel with a pneumatic venturi vacuum system to lower boiling temperatures, improve safety, and expand solvent compatibility.

Certified for Class I, Division I, Group D hazardous locations, the SR60V is ideal for reclaiming flammable and combustible solvents while reducing disposal costs, solvent purchases, and environmental impact.

Key Features

  • 15-gallon / 60-liter working capacity

  • Batch-type solvent distillation

  • Electrically heated thermal oil jacket

  • Vacuum-assisted distillation (SR60V)

  • PLC-controlled automatic operation

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the SR60V solvent recycler?
The SR60V is a 15-gallon (60-liter) batch solvent distillation system designed for on-site solvent recovery in industrial environments. It includes PLC automation, thermal-oil heating, and Class I, Division I, Group D certification.

What does the “V” in SR60V mean?
“V” indicates the pneumatic venturi vacuum system is included. Vacuum assist lowers boiling temperature and supports safer recovery of higher-boiling or heat-sensitive solvents.

Is the SR60V explosion-proof?
The SR60V is certified for Class I, Division I, Group D environments (UL 2208) using explosion-proof rated components for hazardous locations.

What utilities are required?
Electrical: 208/240V, single phase, 50/60 Hz, 24 amps.
Air: 90–120 PSI clean, dry, oil-free air; up to 15 CFM peak.

What’s the working capacity?
15 gallons / 60 liters working volume.

How does the system heat the solvent?
It uses electrically heated thermal oil circulating through a jacketed vessel for controlled, efficient heat transfer.

What happens when a batch finishes?
The unit automatically enters a cool-down mode (about 1 hour) to allow safer residue removal at reduced temperature.

What options are available?
Options include auto-fill, overfill protection for the vacuum tank, stainless condenser upgrades, external light tower, nitrocellulose protection system, liner bags, and start-up/spare parts kits.

How the SR30V / SR60V Recycles Your Solvent

SR30V and SR60V solvent recycler how it works diagram - vacuum distillation process

Dirty solvent is heated indirectly by thermic oil inside a sealed boiler. Solvent vapors rise, pass to the condenser, and return as clean, ready-to-use solvent — while paint solids, resins, and contaminants stay behind in a disposable recycler bag. The vacuum (V) models lower the boiling point, letting you safely recycle higher-boiling-point solvents and speed up cycles.
