Heavy-Duty Jet-Spray Parts Washers — The Machine Cat Service Shops Ask For By Name

When a Caterpillar dealer’s service department cleans components, the parts are big, the grease is baked on, and downtime is measured in money. That’s the job Magido’s heavy-duty jet-spray washers are built for — high-pressure wash and rinse cycles sized for driveline, engine, and hydraulic components too big and too dirty for a standard washer. Once one lands in a Cat shop, the techs start telling other shops about it.

What it is

The workhorse for this application is the Magido L-162 — a heavy-duty, front-loading aqueous jet-spray washer: a 43″ × 43″ turntable rated for 1,500 lbs standard — up to 5,000 lbs in the heavy-duty configuration — driven by a 7.5 HP pump pushing 106 GPM, with a PLC-controlled two-stage wash-then-rinse cycle from twin 77-gallon heated tanks. 100% AISI 304 stainless steel, built in Italy.

Why heavy-equipment shops pick it

It swallows big parts. A 43-inch turntable rated to 5,000 lbs in heavy-duty trim takes final drives, hubs, housings, and hydraulic cylinders that don’t fit the washer you already have — and the cart-mounted removable turntable means you load with a lift truck, not your back.

It runs all day. Twin 77-gallon heated tanks and a PLC-run wash/rinse sequence make it a production machine, not a garage cabinet — parts come out clean AND rinsed, ready for inspection or rework.

It costs less than you’re expecting. Comparable American-built heavy washers typically quote meaningfully higher. Get both numbers and see.

It’s the capability that matters, not the model number

This same high-pressure jet-spray wash-and-rinse capability runs across Magido’s front-load and top-load platforms, at different sizes and configurations — some with an added blow-off/dry stage for applications that need parts to come out completely dry, not just clean. What matters for heavy equipment components is spray pressure, tank capacity, and a cycle that actually rinses grease and detergent off before parts go back into service. Tell us what you’re cleaning — the size, the grease, the volume — and we’ll spec the right platform, whether that’s the L-162 or something else in the line.

Keep it running

We supply the aqueous detergents, filtration, and replacement parts for every Magido machine we sell — one call for the machine and everything that goes in it.

Tell us what you’re cleaning and we’ll tell you which Magido washer is the right fit — and what it actually costs.
