Description
Pipe and tube washing built around the length of the part
Long parts are the ones every standard washer gets wrong. A cabinet washer is built around a turntable, so a long length of tube either does not fit or comes out clean on one end and dirty on the other. The Magido Titanium Series is built the other way around: the wash chamber is sized to the length of the part, and high-pressure jets hit the full run at once.
Pipes load onto a rack and roll into the chamber on a roller feed table. Inside, high-pressure nozzle manifolds jet heated aqueous detergent along the entire length. Solution runs to a maximum of 158°F (70°C), is filtered, and returns to the tank. Machines are available with one wash treatment, or two treatments for wash plus rinse.
What it cleans
- Steel and stainless tube and pipe
- Extruded aluminum profile
- Hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder bodies
- Bar stock and long machined parts
- Drill pipe and tubular goods
Construction and controls
AISI 304 stainless steel throughout, so hot alkaline detergent does not attack the machine. Like the rest of the Magido line: 24V low-voltage controls, IP54–55 electrical enclosure and motors, push-button emergency stop, main disconnect with lock-out, door interlock safety switch, liquid level controls protecting the pumps and heaters, under 70 dBA, CE certified.
Why aqueous instead of solvent
Water-based detergent means no flash point, no solvent inventory, no VOC reporting on the wash process, and no vapor degreaser to maintain. For tube mills, extruders and cylinder shops moving off solvent for compliance or worker-safety reasons, this is the straightforward replacement.
One thing to plan for: flash rust
Bare steel tube coming out of a hot aqueous wash will flash rust in hours if it sits. Pair the washer with a VpCI rust preventative or a passivation stage on the outfeed. We supply both, so you are not solving that problem separately after the machine lands.
Watch it run
Sized to your part, not picked from a shelf
Titanium Series machines are configured to the part — length, diameter, soil and throughput. Send us those four numbers and we will size the machine, tell you whether you need one treatment or two, and quote it with lead time. We also supply the detergent, the filtration and the corrosion protection that go around the machine, so one call covers the whole process.
