Matching the washer to the part
Magido builds stainless steel aqueous washers in several formats, and each suits a different kind of firearms component.
Barrels, receivers and frames
Top-load jet-spray washers handle rifle barrels, upper and lower receivers, frames and bolt carrier assemblies. For barrels, Magido offers a dedicated fixture system that flushes spray through the bore, then rinses and dries in a single chamber.
Brass, casings and projectiles
Rotary drum washers tumble cartridges, shell casings and projectiles through wash and rinse so every surface is reached.
Small and intricate parts
Ultrasonic washers reach into magazine parts, pins, springs and trigger assemblies. Rotary basket washers suit very small components such as primer cups and anvils.

Clean and rusted is not clean
A part coming out of an aqueous wash is chemically clean and completely unprotected. Cortec VpCI vapor phase corrosion inhibitors protect it from there: rust-preventative additives in the rinse stage, VpCI films, bags and papers for work in process and finished goods, and emitters for enclosed storage. The protection needs no heavy oil or grease that has to be removed later. Cortec has published case histories on ammunition preservation.

Solvent in the shop
If you clean with solvent or run a coating line, we also supply solvent recyclers and recycler bags for most batch recyclers.
