Description
The Kresco Aerosol Can Crusher (AC Series) is an air-powered unit that crushes up to four empty aerosol cans at once, or one 1-gallon thin pail, in seconds. A spring-loaded spiked plate pierces the cans as the 2,645 lb cylinder compresses them, propellant is captured by a carbon filter, and residual paint drains to a collection tray. What comes out is crushed, pierced and degassed: up to 80% smaller and, once processed, safe to dispose of as non-hazardous waste instead of paying hazardous-waste rates on every half-empty can from the booth. Built in Quebec, Canada; sold and supported by Solvent Recycling Systems.

Why Paint Shops Buy One
Aerosol cans with product or propellant left in them are hazardous waste. A can crusher lets you empty, pierce and vent them on site under a carbon filter, so the shell goes out as scrap steel and the waste-hauler invoice shrinks. It sits next to the spray gun washer and the solvent recycler as the third piece of a paint-shop waste-reduction program; for 1-gallon to 13-gallon pails see the Kresco PCC pail crushers.
Always confirm with your waste hauler and state regulator how processed cans are classified in your jurisdiction. Contact us for pricing and lead time.
