Description
The Kresco RB Series cyclonic media separator uses centrifugal force to pull dust, paint chips, rust, and fractured media out of your abrasive stream and return blast-ready media to the cabinet or pot — the difference between blasting with sharp, clean abrasive and blasting with dust. A tunable air inlet adapts the cyclone to different media types, sizes, and bulk densities, and a large debris drawer collects the waste.
How It Works
- Contaminated media is drawn from the cabinet into the cyclone
- Adjustable air inlet tunes separation to your media (angular or spherical, any granulometry)
- Dust and fines are pulled out to the dust collector
- Debris drops into a large dust drawer
- Clean, reusable media returns to the 1.5 cu ft storage hopper
