Description
The Kresco CleanBlast™ Series is a compact, budget-friendly line of suction sandblast cabinets for light-industrial shops, automotive and powersports aftermarket, restoration and maintenance departments. You get the same 12-gauge welded steel construction, cyclonic media separator and self-cleaning cartridge dust collector as Kresco’s industrial PowerBlast line, in four pre-engineered sizes up to 48″ × 48″ and with the separator mounted on the collector for a smaller footprint. Built in Quebec, Canada; supplied, installed and supported by Solvent Recycling Systems.

What’s Different About the CleanBlast
- Suction delivery only — an air jet in the gun draws media from a 1.0 cu ft storage hopper. Lower air demand (a 1/4″ nozzle with a 1/8″ air jet needs about 21 CFM at 80 PSI) so it runs on a modest shop compressor.
- Cyclone on the collector — the RSB10 cyclonic separator is mounted on the CDC400 dust collector, so the whole system takes less floor space than a stand-alone cyclone.
- Four sizes instead of eleven, 28″ × 36″ to 48″ × 48″ interior.
- Rubber/vinyl gloves standard (leather optional) and the air blow gun is an option rather than standard.
Everything else that matters is there: foot-operated process control, large Lexan view window, LED lighting, a wide-opening product door, pulse-cleaned cartridge filtration, a large debris trap drawer and an air inlet manifold with pressure regulator and media regulation valve.

Media Recovery and Dust Collection
Spent media and dust leave the cabinet together. The RSB10 cyclonic separator spins the good abrasive out and drops it back into the hopper; dust and fines carry on to the CDC400 cartridge collector, where a pulse-cleaning system keeps the filter clear and a bottom drawer collects the dust. An adjustable air inlet on the cyclone lets you tune it for different media bulk densities.

Guns, Gloves and Wear Parts
The CleanBlast uses the Kresco G5 suction gun (ceramic, tungsten carbide or boron carbide nozzles, 1/4″ to 7/16″) and 30″ vinyl-sleeve cabinet gloves (GLO-VIN-8 or GLO-VIN-10 depending on port size; 40-mil natural rubber gauntlet, fleece lined). CleanBlast vs. PowerBlast
Choose CleanBlast for parts up to about 3 ft × 3 ft, lighter media, intermittent use and a limited compressor. Step up to the PowerBlast Series for all-day production, pressure delivery, steel abrasives, parts to 6 ft × 6 ft, heavier floor loads and the larger CDC600–CDC1800 collectors. For a hobby or very light-duty cabinet see the ECO420. Parts that won’t fit any cabinet belong in a blast room.
