Description
The Kresco Cylinder & Pipe Blaster automates sandblasting of cylinders, pipes, tubes and other round workpieces from 3/4″ up to 60″ in diameter. The part rides on rubberized drive rollers while oscillating nozzles cover the full exterior; an optional pipe-blasting lance enters the bore to clean the interior at the same time. One operator, one cycle, inside and out — with consistent results every load.
Common applications: pipe cleaning, surface preparation before coating, descaling, mill-scale and corrosion removal, hydraulic cylinder refurbishment, and peening of round parts. Built for batch production where a hand-blast room is too slow and a wheel machine is overkill.

How It Works
- Load. Set the cylinder or pipe on the rubberized drive rollers and close the door.
- Rotate and blast. The rollers spin the part while a bank of blast nozzles oscillates along a shaft to cover the entire outside surface.
- Interior pass (optional). A pipe-blasting nozzle advances into the bore to clean the internal surface — available for pipe from 3/4″ to 60″ ID.
- Reclaim. Spent media drops to the hopper, is drawn through a cyclonic separator that pulls out dust, paint chips and broken grains, and clean media returns to the pot.

- PLC with HMI touch screen — main screen for everyday cycle parameters, alarm screen with live and resolved alarm history, password-protected manual screen for maintenance, and built-in maintenance reminders.
- Rubberized drive rollers sized to the part range, with oscillating exterior nozzle bank.
- Cyclonic media recovery — tunable separator with adjustable air inlet so it handles angular or spherical media of different densities (steel grit, aluminum oxide, glass bead, garnet). Stand-alone support fits different floor layouts.
- Self-cleaning cartridge dust collector sized to the cabinet.
- Optional interior pipe-blasting lance, custom hopper capacities, and robotic or conveyor loading.
