Description
Wet compressed air is the quiet killer of blasting and painting equipment: it clumps abrasive, plugs metering valves, rusts blast pots from the inside, freezes air tools in winter and puts fisheyes in paint. Super-Dry point-of-use compressed air dryers, water separators and filters fix that at the machine, where it matters, as a supplement to (not a replacement for) a central refrigerated or twin-tower dryer. Kresco distributes the Super-Dry line and fits it to its blast pots, cabinets, blast rooms and spray gun washers; Solvent Recycling Systems supplies it in the US with the equipment or on its own.

D Series Desiccant Point-of-Use Air Dryers (to 300 SCFM)
Three stages in one housing: an inlet polypropylene coalescing element strips oil and solid particles, an activated-alumina desiccant bag absorbs water vapor, and an outlet coalescer polishes the air. A humidity and temperature indicator on the housing shows when to swap the self-contained desiccant cartridge; an automatic timer drain dumps condensate.
- Flows up to 300 SCFM; pressure dew point −40°F; maximum working pressure 150 PSIG; zero air loss
- Heavy-duty powder-coated aluminum casting with stainless V-band clamps for quick cartridge changes; wall brackets included
- Optimized flow path for minimal pressure drop; optimum filter efficiency even at low flows
- 10-year warranty, 25-year life expectancy
- Applications: sandblasting, paint spraying, dust collector pulse air, foam spray, air welders, plasma cutting, air tools, packaging equipment
The D Series is non-regenerative and will not hold a stable dew point for continuous operation; it supplements a central system rather than replacing a twin-tower dryer. Typical installs run compressor → after-cooler → FSD water separator → SAF filter(s) → D Series dryer at the point of use. Model selection by SCFM and port size is on the Super-Dry catalog; tell us your flow and we’ll pick the housing.
ATD Series In-Line Dryers
Compact in-line desiccant dryers for a single tool, paint gun or pot control circuit. Prevents air tools from freezing in cold shops and keeps moisture out of paint lines.

FSD Series Water Separators (to 515 SCFM)
Heavy-duty housings that remove bulk liquid at any flow, with a zero-air-loss float drain included and an auto-drain option. Maximum inlet 232 PSIG and 176°F.

SAF Series Compressed Air Filters
Three element grades in the same housings: Grade X general purpose (1.0 micron particles, 0.5 ppm oil carry-over, 0.44 psi drop), Grade Y high efficiency / oil-free (0.01 micron, 0.01 ppm, 1.74 psi), Grade Z activated carbon for odor and taste (0.003 ppm oil, 1.31 psi). Removes up to 99% of contaminants.

TD Series Timer Drains and HGT Humidity Gauge
The TD timer drain combines a solenoid valve, ball-valve strainer and electronic timer to purge condensate from compressors, dryers and receivers automatically: TD-1/4 (110 V, 1/4–1/2″ dual port), TD-1/4 12 VDC and TD-1/4 220 V, each adjustable from 0.5–45 minute intervals and 0.5–10 second discharge, 2 lb. The HGT-1/4 humidity gauge (20–100% RH, 10–160°F) screws into a D Series dryer to show cartridge saturation; install the brass snubber to protect the dial.
Where We Fit It
- Ahead of the air inlet on SBP blast pots and the pot in a blast room
- On the control-air line of PowerBlast and CleanBlast cabinets and their pulse-cleaned dust collectors
- Feeding spray gun washers and paint lines in the booth
