Cortec Liquid Rust Preventatives — Spray, Dip, or Fog Protection

Liquid rust preventatives put corrosion protection directly on the part. We stock Cortec VpCI water-based and oil-based liquids that apply by spray, dip, brush, or fog — from thin dry-film preventatives for indoor storage to heavy-duty coatings like VpCI-368 for outdoor and export exposure. Most leave a clean, thin film that does not need to be removed before machining or assembly.

The sweet spot for liquids is right after cleaning: parts coming out of an aqueous parts washer or solvent cleaning line flash-rust fast, and a rust preventative applied while parts are still in process protects them through storage and shipping. Several Cortec liquids can even be added to the final rinse of your parts washer, building rust prevention directly into your wash cycle — ask us how, we supply both the washers and the chemistry.
