Description
210 GPH Replacement Pump for Solvent Parts Washers
The pump is what turns a drum of solvent into a working parts washer. When the stream at the brush goes weak, or the tank stops circulating altogether, the pump is the usual cause — and replacing it costs a fraction of replacing the machine.
This 210 GPH submersible solvent pump is the standard pump on Build-All drum-mounted and sink-on-drum parts washers. It sits in the solvent, draws through a screened intake and pushes cleaning fluid up through the metal flex hose and flow-thru brush. The shaft seal is Viton, the elastomer you want for continuous petroleum-solvent service.

Fits these parts washers
Standard pump on the Build-All SWH1630 Sink-on-Drum, TKL30 light-duty drum-mounted washer and AL8 80-gallon agitating washer. Because it is a 115V submersible with a standard discharge, it also works as a replacement pump in most other drum-mounted solvent tanks — send us your machine model and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.

How to tell if your parts washer pump is bad
Four signs, in the order you usually notice them: the flow at the brush drops off while the solvent is still clean; the pump runs hotter or louder than it used to; it hums but does not move fluid; it trips a breaker. Before you replace it, check the two cheaper culprits first — a loaded filter element or a clogged intake screen produces the same symptom as a dying pump.
Solvent pumps vs. aqueous pumps
These pumps are built for petroleum-based parts washer solvent. The seals and impeller are specified for solvent service and will fail early in water-based or caustic cleaners. If you run an aqueous washer, you need an aqueous-rated pump — ask us and we will quote the right one. And never run a submersible pump dry: it is the most common cause of premature failure and is not covered under warranty on any brand.
