Description
Cortec VpCI-126 Gusseted Bags for Industrial Rust Prevention
Cortec VpCI-126 gusseted bags are designed to protect large, heavy, and irregularly shaped metal parts from corrosion during storage, handling, and overseas shipping. Made from high-performance vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) film, these bags release protective vapors that form an invisible molecular barrier on metal surfaces—without oils, greases, or desiccants.
The gusseted design allows the bag to expand and conform around bulky components and assemblies, making them ideal for manufacturers, OEMs, machine shops, and export packaging operations. Bags are perforated on rolls for efficient dispensing in high-volume industrial environments.

How VpCI-126 Technology Works
VpCI-126 vaporizes within the sealed bag and condenses on metal surfaces, forming a protective corrosion-inhibiting layer. This barrier prevents oxidation while remaining clean, dry, and easy to remove—simply open the bag and use the part.
