Description
The Kresco CDC Series is the line of self-cleaning cartridge dust collectors for sandblast cabinets and automated blasting systems. Every Kresco cabinet ships with one, sized to the cabinet; they also bolt onto an existing cabinet from another manufacturer as a stand-alone upgrade, or pair with a Kresco RB Series cyclonic reclaimer to clean the media as well as the air.
Five sizes from 400 to 1,800 CFM. Cartridge filters capture 99% of particles down to 1 micron; a reverse-pulse cleaning system with automatic timer and clogging indicator knocks the dust cake off the cartridges so airflow — and visibility in the cabinet — stays constant between filter changes.

Which Size Do You Need?
- CDC400 — the smallest-footprint combo on the market: a 400 CFM cartridge collector with a built-in 10″ cyclonic media reclaimer (model CDC400-RSB10). Runs on 120 V. For light-industrial, commercial and automotive-aftermarket suction cabinets (Econoblast, ECO420).
- CDC600 / CDC900 — two cartridges, 636 sq ft. The standard match for CleanBlast and ECAB cabinets and small automated cells.
- CDC1200 / CDC1800 — four cartridges, 1,272 sq ft. For PowerBlast pressure cabinets, multi-nozzle automated systems (indexing turntables, cylinder blasters, basket blasters) and the smallest blast enclosures.
- Anything larger — a blast room or booth — moves to the CDC2000–CDC150000 blast room dust collectors.

*With Kresco’s standard MERV 11 pleated-lock cartridge media. Door openings: 18½” × 39″ (CDC600/900), 38½” × 39″ (CDC1200/1800). Adjustable legs are assembled on site; overall height varies with the leg setting and the configuration shipped with a given cabinet — confirm at quote.
Standard Features
- Self-cleaning reverse-pulse system with automatic timer and clogging indicator (CDC400: push-button pulse)
- Cartridge filters: 99% of particles at 1 micron and larger; easy front access for replacement
- Works on suction cabinets, pressure cabinets and automated systems
- Dust collection drum (CDC400: dust drawer)
Options
- HEPA after-filter — 99.7% of particles down to 0.3 micron, for beryllium, lead paint, or recirculated air
- Horizontal or vertical muffler to meet OSHA noise limits (under 80 dB with muffler)
- Dust drum trolley
- Nanofiber MERV 15 flame-retardant cartridges (99.9% at 0.35 micron) in place of standard MERV 11
Cartridges and Spare Parts
Standard and nanofiber cartridges are the same 36″ × 12.75″ OD pleated-lock format across the whole CDC line, so one spare fits every size. Solvent Recycling Systems stocks them:
| Part | Kresco # |
|---|---|
| Standard cartridge, MERV 11 cellulose/polyester (each) | 601307 |
| Nanofiber cartridge, MERV 15 flame-retardant (each) | 601317 |
| Door seal ½” × 1″ (per foot) | 618305 |
| 1½” Goyen valve, complete assembly | 601329 |
| 1½” Goyen valve repair kit | M-2192 |
Cartridges typically last about three years; change the full set at once and reset the DCT1000 controller to its initial 2.0 / 3.5 limits. Maintenance intervals and controller tuning are in our blast equipment preventive maintenance checklist.
